Halloween night, Lower east side,NYC: An American couple, John and Grace, discover a dead body on the doorstep of their apartment. The frightened pair decide to pass the blame and the stuffed trash bag on their Turkish neighbors, Ruya and Cumhur. Grace is a closet voyeur who spies on “the foreigners” through a hole in the wall. Halloween costumes, FBI agents, and a shady superintendent create a surreal tone in Wall. It is a high concept-multimedia production illustrating the separation, paranoia, and fear that exists post 9/11.
